I know it doesn't make a big difference, or help you in any way for that matter, but I wanted you to know this. I am in the market for a truck. I recently saw the Nissan Titan and was interested. I went to www.nissan.com, and taaa-daaa, here YOU are. I read what Nissan Motors has put you through, and that lousy bully of a corporation will not get a dime from me. I will buy my truck elsewhere.
Thanks for the great information!
Linda
I hope you win your lawsuit; I had 2 Muranos and will never buy Nissan cars again.
John Louis
I'm in the web business (in North Carolina) and recently discovered another designer who had stolen my work. I got really upset that the guy was using my work to fatten his wallet.
This afternoon, I had a few extra minutes to stop in the local Nissan dealership. I looked around and decided on a model I like. I came home to look up some information and came across your site. I wanted to let you know that I'm not going to purchase a Nissan now.
My hope is that you will be able to continue the fight against Nissan Motors and that you are satisfactorily compensated for this ridiculous lawsuit.
My stolen design seems so insignificant compared to what you're experiencing.
I can't imagine your frustration!

I am in the process of looking for a new car and ran across your website by accident. After reading about NMC, I will NOT even consider buying one of their vehicles. You have my support.
Chris
I would just like to let you know that nissan motors has lost a customer because of their attack on nissan.com. I am firmly a believer in your cause and even though I was considering a nissan frontier as my new purchase, it will never come of fruition. Nissan motors is only going after you for the domain name, and I feel that is not right. Good luck to you in you battle against Goliath, I will be cheering for David.
I think I am going to buy a new Dodge.
Brendan Lill
Just because of your suit: I will not consider Nissan Motors for the SUV I will be buying this January. They have a nice SUV, but I have a strong sense of right & wrong. And they are just plain WRONG. I hope you can hold on till you win (you will win)
I will let Nissan know also of my decision in every way I can.
John Rhodes
Just saw the CNN newscast - was looking to buy a new car - WON'T be a Nissan . . .and I live in Raleigh. Hang in there!

Shame on Nissan Motor Company. I don't know all the legalities, but I am in favor of Nissan Computer.
Mr. Nissan has done what many Americans only dream of...... working for themselves. The American Dream.
I'll never buy a Nissan. Those in favor of a Nissan Motors might be able to pick up a great deal on a used Nissan car if Nissan Motors keeps this up.
Also, about Nissan in Mississippi, its not just happening in MS, its happening in a lot of places...........bad thing though, is the Supreme Court ruled that the government could use eminent domain for private use.
Jeff P. - Texas
Just to let you know, I've decided not to purchase a Nissan Motor because of the problem they have caused you, your family and business associates.
Good luck!
Paul
At the recommendation of someone, I was considering buying a Nissan vehicle. But after researching and discovering what Nissan Motor is doing to Nissan Computer Corp, I am boycotting Nissan Motor. I am shocked and appalled, and will be sure to give MY recommendation to others...by letting them know exactly what Nissan Motor is doing.
I will not purchase any vehicle from Nissan Motor (and I will be sure to research and find out who their parent and sister companies are as well, and avoid them too).

I happened upon your website because I was considering purchasing a Nissan pick-up truck. (I currently own a Toyota) After reading about your experience with Nissan Motors, I have changed my mind. I will stay with Toyota. I refuse to do business with a company that treats people like they have treated you just because you happen to have the same name. Nissan Motors can kiss my exhaust pipe!
Al Richardson
I was looking for information on the 2011 Maxima, but I found this information instead.
I will buy something else.
Tom Schabel
Well Nissan, You just sold me on any other car but yours. If you really want the domain, pay a fair price and not just try to steal it. You should have had the vision to reserve it when it was available.
Bevin Powell
I did go to nissan.com to look for a car but I will look no further. I read about the crazy legal fight it I believe that NMC is abusing the system.
Buy a car from them?... no way!
Neal Glessner
I was looking into buying a new car, while watching TV their was a commercial from Nissan Motors so I went on line to check on prices, when I put in Nissan motors I seen that they were suing Mr. Nissan for using 'is Own name' for his computer company, saying they had sole right to the Nissan name, just because Nissan Motors has a lot of money, they think they can "bully" people and put them out of business, shame on them.
I will not be buying a Nissan in the future.
Luis Torres
I was always inclined to Nissan cars, but after reading this and how unfair the Nissan respect its social responsibilities, I am totally against its corporate practice and will try to expose that issue to my best abilities. This will impact my choice of next car purchase.
That is unfair and against American personal freedom, the principal this country is build on.
Aleksandr Teplitskiy
I am appalled at this lawsuit. Especially given that Mr. Nissan was doing business as Nissan Computer when Nissan was known as Datsun. I think this is horrible publicity for Nissan Motors as it's a David and Goliath story and as you very well know, everybody roots for the underdog.
Shame on you Nissan Motors! I think you just want to put pressure on Mr. Nissan to give up Nissan.com domain name.
I may buy a bumper sticker.
Miguel Fra
After reading about this, I may need one of those "my last Nissan" bumper stickers. Big business tactics like that make me angry. At the same time, it seems like a solution could be mediated in such a way that typing or searching on Nissan would bring up both Nissan Motors and Nissan Computer (USA). How hard would that be? But some aren't happy unless they have it all. Capitalism just isn't what it's made out to be.

Good Afternoon,
My wife is looking to replace her car with an SUV. I was going through her options and was checking on the Nissan brand to add to the list. I went to Nissan.com and noticed it wasn't the Motor Car company, so i was about to just search to find the correct site when i noticed the banner. I read the info on the case, and i am disgusted that any company would waste this kind of effort and money pursuing such a seemingly small perceived offense. As i said, i would have had no problem finding the correct site for Nissan Motor Company, and I certainly weren't confusing Nissan Computer with Nissan Motor.
I have removed the Nissan Motor brand from our vehicle search. There are plenty of other options.
Sincerely,
Nick
I was planning to buy a new Nissan Frontier truck from Nissan Motors, USA. After reading about Nissan Motors heavy-handed lawsuit against your company, I will buy a Toyota truck instead. I have been bullied too, it is not pleasant... I emailed Nissan also informing them why I was not buying a vehicle from them.
God Bless,
Kyle Redden
